About E2 Studio

E2 Studio is an independent, self-help document preparation tool for E-2 treaty investor visa applicants, built and maintained by a founder working through the process first hand.

Who is behind E2 Studio

E2 Studio is built by Doğukan Ergüven, a software engineer from Turkey. The product grew out of his own E-2 preparation: researching treaty requirements, US company formation, source-of-funds documentation, and consulate procedures first hand, then turning that research into tools anyone can use.

Doğukan is not a licensed attorney, and E2 Studio is not a law firm. Every guide is checked against primary government sources, including the Immigration and Nationality Act, the federal regulations, and the State Department's Foreign Affairs Manual. The full source list is public.

What E2 Studio is, and what it is not

E2 Studio is a self-help tool: it organizes the E-2 process, generates a business plan draft from the applicant's own inputs, and prepares document checklists. It does not replace individual legal judgment.

  • It is: a free eligibility check, a business plan generator, and a document preparation toolkit.
  • It is not: a law firm, a visa agency, or a guarantee of approval.
  • Straightforward cases are often self-filed. For complex cases, an independent review by a licensed immigration attorney is money well spent. The tool helps in both situations.

How the content is maintained

Each guide carries a last-reviewed date. When an official source changes, the affected guides are reviewed and the date is updated.

Where a guide summarizes the law, the primary source remains authoritative. The full list of sources and editorial standards is public.
